Secure Your Future: Hatch Brenner Solicitors in Norwich offers Lasting Power of Attorney services, empowering trusted decision-making on your behalf.
Overview
We can assist you in creating Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) for property and finance matters as well as to make health and welfare decisions.

How we can help
We will discuss your requirements with you to establish:
Once we have established your requirements we will prepare draft documents for you to check and then arrange for them to be signed by all parties – Donors; Certificate Provider and Attorneys. We will then deal with the registration of the Powers at the OPG and provide you with certified copies of the documents if required once registration has been completed. We offer a free storage service for all Powers of Attorney that we prepare.
The preparation of Lasting Power of Attorney is dealt with on a Fixed Fee basis so you know at the outset exactly what the costs will be.
We can also arrange home visits for a small additional cost if you are unable to attend the office.
It is sometimes necessary for Powers of Attorney to be revoked or changed after they have been completed and registered with the OPG. We can make all the necessary arrangements to ensure your Powers of Attorney are up to date and in accordance with your wishes.
If you or someone you are close to becomes incapacitated without having made a Power of Attorney, it is likely that it will be necessary for an application to be made to the Court of Protection to be appointed a Deputy. Click to link through and find further information about the Court of Protection.
The solicitors in our Wills, Tax & Probate team are full members of the Society for Estate Practitioners and have extensive experience in the preparation of Lasting Power of Attorney.
Your claim must be made within three years of the date of the accident (or with industrial diseases claims, three years from the date of knowledge of the disease).
You will likely have many questions regarding the process, and we are here to make it clearer.
