What to Expect
At the outset, we’ll send you a set of property forms and questionnaires designed to reduce the number of enquiries raised by the buyer’s solicitor. The more thoroughly these are completed, the smoother the process will be. We also request supporting documents, such as warranties, certificates, and guarantees, which form part of the “Contract Pack” we issue to the buyer’s legal team.
Once the buyer’s solicitor is satisfied with the responses and documentation, we’ll move to exchange contracts and agree on a completion date. We’ll liaise with your estate agent and mortgage lender (if applicable), ensuring your mortgage is redeemed and the agent’s fees are paid directly from the sale proceeds. Our legal fees will also be deducted on completion, meaning there’s no need for upfront payment.
